Do you think that the wind is the same everywhere around the school grounds? Why or why not?

DO THIS:

1. Make a wind sock or weather vane.

2. Select 5 sites around the school for your measurements. Mark them on the map and label each with a number from 1 to 5.

3. Visit each site and estimate the wind speed and direction. Record your observations.

4. For each site, draw an arrow on the map to show the wind direction and write the speed next to it.
