Air pressure is what makes a balloon get large as you blow it up.
The greater the air pressure, the larger the balloon. Let's see if temperature can affect air pressure by heating and cooling balloons. What do you think will happen to a balloon that is cooled or heated?

1. Blow up both balloons so they are the same size.
2. Mark one "H" for hot and one "C" for cold.
3. Put the "C" balloon in the cooler with ice.
4. Put the "H" balloon in the box and heat it with the hair dryer.
5. After about 10 minutes of heating and cooling, take out both
balloons and compare them. Record any changes:
