WHAT DO YOU THINK?

When water dries up it evaporates and then becomes rain. What do you think will happen if water with paint in it evaporates?

YOU NEED:

• 1 paper towel
• poster paint or food color
• 1 cup
• water

DO THIS:

1. Put a small amount of water in the cup. Drip 5-6 drops of water in one spot on the paper towel.

2. Add one drop of paint to the remaining water and mix.

3. Drip 5-6 drops of colored water in another spot on the paper towel.

4. Put the towel in a sunny, warm place.

5. Later, check the towel to see what has happened.
