WHAT DO YOU THINK?

How does the color of an object affect how fast it will heat up?

YOU NEED:

• 1 piece of black paper
• 2 thermometers
• 1 piece of white paper

DO THIS:

1. Check the starting temperatures of each thermometer.

2. Wrap one thermometer in black paper and one in white paper.

3. Place both in a sunny spot.

4. Wait 10 minutes. Then unwrap the thermometers and record their temperatures.
