What You Do

1. Look at the dinosaur footprints on sheet A. Explain why you think:

They were made by the same type of animal or different types?

3. Now let's do some experiments with human locomotion to help us test our hypotheses. To do this we will use your classmates instead of dinosaurs. We will make tracks of one person walking and then running. We will also make tracks of a 4-legged student and two 2-legged students. Your teacher will direct this class activity.

4. Compare the human tracks on sheet A with the dinosaur tracks on sheet A. Do you want to change your hypothesis?
